How do I display a slice file in the Seismic Viewer

Similar to displaying the SEG-Y volume in the Seismic Viewer it is important that you specify the correct display parameter when viewing the slice. 

1. Click the Slice Selection icon () on the Basemap. You can either Ctrl + left click to display the entire attribute slice, or left click to select the area of interest on the 3D display on the Basemap.
   
   
2. Set up the Seismic Display Properties as follows:

• On the Trace Style tab set the Slice Style to Interpolated Density
  
• On the Colors tab select the colorbar. 
  
• On the Trace Scale tab set a User Defined Range . You may want to limit this range for greater emphasis of anomalies.

The benefit of displaying results in your seismic view is that it will track with both the map and seismic, as well as allow you pick or manipulate your faults on the slice.  The downside is the lack of culture and well control as well as the orientation of diagonal 3Ds.
