Getting Started: Basemap
How do I select a seismic line?
To select seismic from the Basemap for display in the Seismic Viewer, follow these steps:

Click on a selection icon located on the Selection Toolbar.

Select the seismic from the Basemap. As you are making your selections a highlight line will appear. Depending on the selection mode you are using you will be selecting 2D seismic, 3D seismic, or a combination of the two.

Right-click to open the Seismic Viewer and display your selection.
A simple workflow for displaying 2D seismic lines
Click the Single Arbline icon (
), then to:

open an entire 2D line, right-click on the 2D line to display the line in the Seismic Viewer.

open a portion of a line, click to start the selection, then right click to complete the selection and display the line in the Seismic Viewer.

open multiple lines, click Ctrl on the keyboard and left mouse button on multiple 2D lines, then right click to display the line in the Seismic Viewer.

open a 2D intersection, click the starting point on the first line, click at any position on the second line, and then right mouse button on an end point of the second line to display the line in the Seismic Viewer.
A simple workflow for displaying 3D Arblines
Click the Single Arbline icon (
), then to:

open one segment, click on the 3D volume to start the selection, and then right-click to complete the selection and display the line in the Seismic Viewer.

open a fence, click on the 3D volume to start the selection, click to and the first segment and begin the second segment, and then right click to complete the selection and display the line in the Seismic Viewer,
A simple workflow for displaying 3D Inlines and Crosslines
Click the Single Inline (
) or Single Crossline (
) icon, then to:

open an entire line, right click on the 3D to display the line in the Seismic Viewer.

open a portion of a line, click to start the selection, and then right-click to end the selection and display the line in the Seismic Viewer.
