Cross Plot: Menus

The dialog boxes in the Cross Plot window can be moved, resized and stacked to maximize the space available.

Turning Dialog Boxes On and Off

How do I turn an individual dialog box off or on From the View menu, select the dialog box that you want to turn off or on. A check mark next to the dialog box name indicates that it is turned on.
How do I turn a dialog box off Click the Close icon () on the top right corner of the dialog box. 

Resizing Dialog Boxes

Resize dialog boxes to make the most of the window space.

How do I resize a dialog box Place your cursor between two dialog boxes, or a dialog box and the adjoining box. When the cursor becomes  a line with two arrows (), click and drag.

How do I unpin a dialog box?

Click the push pin icon in the top right corner of the dialog box. The dialog box will now be represented as a tab on the side of the window. To access the contents of the dialog box, click on the tab.

Moving Dialog Boxes

You can place dialog boxes in any location within your window, or they can float, although this is not recommended.

How do I undock a dialog box Place your cursor on the title bar, and then click and drag the dialog box to a new location. If you release the mouse without using the docking tools described below, the dialog box will not be docked within the window.
How do I dock a floating dialog box Double click on the title bar. The dialog box will be placed in the same location it was in when it was un-docked. To place it in a new location, use one of the tools described below.
How do I dock a dialog box Move the dialog box to a new location. You will see a shaded area that represents where it will be place when you release your mouse button.
