Basemap: Ribbon Toolbar

The Ribbon Toolbar allows you to quickly toggle between time and amplitude, create isochrons and edit grid and horizons on the Basemap.




Horizon to Display: Select the horizon you want displayed as a ribbon on the Basemap. Information can be sorted using the Name and Owner column headers.  Use a filter (), or type a search string into the search bar to limit the information in the list.  To turn on more than one horizon, use your Ctrl key and select horizons from the Horizon to Display list.

  Horizon Properties: Launches the Horizon Properties dialog.  

or Display Time or Amplitude:  Clicking on the    icon will display the time mapping for the horizon.  Clicking on the icon will display the amplitude mapping for the horizon.  Use these icons to quickly toggle between the two.

Horizon and Grid Editing:Launches an editing dialog that is used to edit the horizon or grid currently being displayed (either by clearing or smoothing). If the horizon being display is an isochron, it will be saved to the disk first before editing.

Compute Isochron: Use this to compute an isochron quickly. The isochron is not saved until it is edited or grid and contoured.

Toggle 2D Ribbons: Toggle horizon ribbons for 2D and SEG-P lines on and off.

Toggle 3D Ribbons: Toggle horizon ribbons for 3D seismic on and off .
