Clip
The Clip tool is used to permanently remove extraneous points
that are on currently displayed horizon or grid ribbons. It
is launched from the Tools menu.
How do I clip a horizon?

From the Tools menu select Clip.

Use the left mouse button to select a range of values from the Histogram of Current Ribboned Values, which will populate the Range to Clip fields. Alternately you can manually enter a Minimum and Maximum value in the Range to Clip field.

Select a Ribbon to Clip, either Horizons or Grids. These choices apply to any currently displayed horizon or grid Ribbons.

the operation. This action is not reversible.
General Information
Range to Clip: Set a Minimum and Maximum range. Data will either be clipped within this range, or this range will be preserved and everything outside the range will be removed.
Ribbon to Clip: Select between Horizons and Grids. Remember only the currently displayed horizons or grids will be affected.
Clip Outside Range:
This will permanently delete any data that is outside the specified
range. This action is not reversible. Clip Inside Range: This will
permanently delete any data that is inside the specified range. This action is not reversible.Also See
