1. Press the Delete Fault  icon on the Fault Toolbar or select Delete Fault  from the Fault Menu.

2. Using the left mouse button (LMB), either: 

   1. Click on a single fault, or 

   2. Hold down the LMB and draw a polygon around a segment/group of segments. Right mouse button to end the selection. 

3. When the Select Faults to Delete dialog appears, select the name of the segment to be deleted.

4. Click  to delete the fault.

Note: If using the polygon mode of selection, if one node of an existing fault  segment falls within the polygon, it will appear in the list so that the entire segment can be deleted.
