Attribute Viewer: Customizing the Display

There are five dialog boxes in the Attribute Viewer that can be moved, resized and stacked to maximize the space available in the seismic window, and customize your workflow.

Turning Dialog Boxes On and Off


How do I turn an individual dialog box off or on From the View menu, select the dialog that you want to turn off or on. A check mark next to the dialog box name indicates that it is turned on.
How do I
turn a dialog box off Click the Close icon () on the top right corner of the dialog box. 

Resizing Dialog Boxes

Resize dialog boxes to make the most of the window space.

How do I resize a dialog box Place your cursor between two dialog boxes, or a dialog box and the seismic display. When the cursor becomes  a line with two arrows (), click and drag.

Moving Dialog Boxes

You can place dialog boxes in any location within your window, or they can float, although this is not recommended.

How do I undock a dialog box Place your cursor on the title bar, and then click and drag the dialog box to a new location. If you release the mouse without using the docking tools described below, the dialog box will not be docked within the window. Alternately, click the Minimize icon () on the title bar of the dialog box.
How do I dock a floating dialog box Double click on the title bar. The dialog box will be placed in the same location it was in when it was un-docked. To place it in a new location, use one of the tools described below.
How do I dock a dialog box Move the dialog box to a new location. You will see a shaded area that represents where it will be place when you release your mouse button.
How do I stack a dialog box Move the dialog box over another dialog box. When a tab appears on the lower box, release your mouse button. You will now see a tab for both dialog boxes.
